About Laurent “Lo” de Janvry
My goal is to help simplify the lives of my neighbors — including independent elders, busy professionals and families, and home and rental property owners — so they can breathe easier and focus on what matters most: health, happiness, and family.
My name is Laurent “Lo” de Janvry, and I was born and raised right here in Berkeley — in the Elmwood and Claremont neighborhoods that many of you call home today. After graduating from Berkeley High School and UC Berkeley (Go Bears!), I earned my MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and spent more than 20 fulfilling years in development and external relations at UC Berkeley.
For the last 25+ years, I have successfully maintained, improved, and managed multiple primary and rental properties for my extended family here in Berkeley and Lake Tahoe. Through that hands-on experience, I've become an AirBnB Super Host, a frequent host of visiting professors through Sabbatical Homes and Cal Rentals, and an active member of Trusted Housesitters and Home Exchange.
Now I want to put that experience to work for you. You will enjoy having one local, trusted point of contact to coordinate, oversee, and manage all aspects of maintaining, enhancing, and renting your properties at a reasonable rate. Whatever decisions need to be made, I will always give you 2–3 options. You stay in control. I do the legwork. And you get to breathe easier.
